Jeremy Corbyn urges Scots to end SNP and Tory austerity by voting Labour

Corbyn accused Nicola Sturgeon of “passing on Tory austerity” in the form of cuts to public spending in Scotland.

With Labour trailing a poor third behind the SNP and Conservatives in Scotland, Corbyn hoped to elbow his party back into the race in key seats where Labour thinks it might have a chance to stage a comeback.

Along with the single seat Ian Murray is defending in Edinburgh South, Labour think a tightening of the polls could put them in play in a number of seats.
