The presidency took to its official tweeter handle to announce
“PRESIDENT BUHARI BROADCASTS TO THE NATION
Pres @MBuhari will today broadcast to the nation at 7pm with a repeat at 9pm. All TV, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of @NTANewsNow and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.”
The president handlers must have seen the hand writing on the wall and are forced to release the president to make another broadcast 2 days before Nigerians go to the polls.
It could be recalled that the president have barely granted any interviews or broadcasts since he came into power in 2015.
It looks like he has finally found himself few days before the country cast their votes to elect a president for a four years term.
Muhammadu Buhari is asking for a 2nd term in office after the 1st term which was campaigned using the mantra of change.
This election is an opportunity for the electorate to score the president on his achievements in the last four years.
