APC Femi Gbajabiamila wins Surulere federal constituency 1 at the house of representatives till at least 2023. He emerged winner with 14,617 votes while Adewara Michael of PDP came second with 8085 votes.
Former Governor of Enugu State, Senator Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani has won the Enugu East Senatorial Election. Nnamani of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, polled a total of 128,843 votes.
Mr Abubakar of the PDP scored 275,901 votes to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC who scored 241,769 votes. Total accredited voters were 598,586, total votes cast: 586,827, while rejected votes were 30,833
The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, polled 52 votes to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, who got 48 votes.
